Green Meridian is an organization representing a wide range of green industry professionals; landscape designers, contractors, care professionals, students, nursery folks and suppliers - concerned about our environments, curious about best practices, and willing to advocate for change within our community - and within our industry.

Regenerative horticulture is the newfound practice of specifying and advocating for least impact IPM methods in landscape design, installation and care - and moving forward with the knowledge that our industry is uniquely poised to help heal our environments, educating consumers and speaking clearly about safe horticultural and construction practices.

Green Meridian was founded over 20 years ago as a landscape discussion group and to serve as a counterpoint to mainstream thinking in the landscape trades. What we know as “our” green industry has been corrupted by landscape chemical interests. We recognize when products are being sold without regard for public safety - and how a clear and open discussion is the best path forward for those that value an honest discussion.

Our members come from all over the spectrum, including landscape architects and designers, design/build installers, landscape care professionals, students and academic instructors at universities and community college programs, suppliers of a range of products, municipal administrators and business folks that are interested in an honest dialogue about how best to build a better world.
